A TAKI account is a teacher or an administrator, and that is decided when it is created. What varies is the job in front of the person holding it: recording a class, following one student, or running a school year.
TAKI has two account roles, teacher and administrator, and they are fixed when an account is created. What changes between the three below is the work, not a permission tier.

Grade levels, sections, subjects, school years, members and thresholds are configured once in the browser and every teacher’s phone reads them.
It is built around the realities of education in the Philippines, which is a context rather than a category. What a school runs on, how it structures its year, and where it draws the line on attendance are all the school’s to decide.
Recording never waits for a signal, so a room with no bars behaves exactly like one with five. Syncing happens afterwards; it is not a condition for teaching.
Grade levels, sections, subjects and the weight each subject gives its components are entered once by the school and read by every class. TAKI does not ship a structure and ask a school to fit it.
An account gets a private workspace from the first sign-in, so a teacher can run their own classes before a school is set up around them, or without one at all.
Early-warning thresholds are set for the school and can be overridden for a single class. The numbers belong to the people who know the students, not to a default nobody chose.
